Photo a Day, June 17 - 23

Sun: Father's Day! The boys and I are so blessed to have so many wonderful fathers in our lives. I love this pic of Travis and his dad with the boys. // Mon: Grey and I singing "The itsy, bitsy spider."

Tues: Cherries, pitted and ready to be turned into jam. // Wed: Micah likes to throw tantrums. Sometimes I am sympathetic, and sometimes, I take his picture instead. 

 Thurs: Grey likes to wear my glasses. // Fri: the boys like to stand on the chair in their room. 

Sat: Grey and I, getting ready to go to the local water park 7 Peaks.

Cherry picking

This morning the boys and I went cherry-picking.

Yum. I will turn all these cherries into jam and a pie. I am a teeny bit obsessed with sour cherry pie.
I mean... who isn't?

Photo a day, June 10 - 16

Yummmm! We go through about 2 watermelon a week. We'd eat more, if only they were cheaper. // Poor Grey, it is not much fun to have a brother sitting on your lap in a teeny cart! 

Micah pushed the laundry basket to the couch, so he could use it as a footstool. // Grey's favorite book: Animals. 

Playing in the mudpit in our front yard. // Micah snuggling with daddy. Poor boy is feeling sick again. Always sick. :( 

And Micah and his auntie Noelle reading Micah's favorite book, I Speak Dinosaur before bedtime. 

A happy week, all in all. 

Haircuts

I have been holding off on haircuts for a LONG TIME. But it was time. My boys needed haircuts. I mean, look at those goofy bangs:

So I let Travis cut the boys' hair, and I coped the only way that I could: by viewing the whole situation from behind a camera.  

We let the boys eat some snacks while we cut their hair... that was a bad idea. Look what I found in Grey's lap afterward:

When we were at my Aunt and Uncle's recently, Micah took to their hammock/swing/chair immediately.
He fell for that baby hard.

Okay, fine. I guess we'll have to buy our own.

Photo a day, June 3 - June 9

Another week! Is it silly that I feel so proud for accomplishing this? One good photo a day isn't really that hard, but it seems like a big deal to me!

Our new purple basil plant. I hope it lives... let's just say, I'm better at keeping kids alive, than I am at keeping plants alive. // And Micah posing as he pushes his brother in wagon.

Eating a snowcone in the park this afternoon, at Orem Summer Days Festival.

I usually try to get lots of pictures with my boys' faces showing, but it's nice that if I get one of two a week, the rest can be action shots, detail shots, or creative shots. I know what they look like, so now I get to photograph and remember the world, too!

Cousin Fun

The boys and I had a fun afternoon a few days ago, spent with my little cousins. My aunt and uncle's whole backyard was a baby wonderland!

This pink swing was by far the most coveted toy. Everyone wanted to spend all their time in it!

Sunshiney Day

Did you have a lovely weekend? My boys and I did, playing with Travis' family.

My blue-eyed, dirty-faced boy. Isn't that onesie the best thing ever? We found it at the Thrift store! I think it's supposed to be Pitcher like a baseball pitcher, but instead, it's a Micah Pitcher.

Photo a day, May 27 - June 2

My friend Sienna does this every week, and I keep meaning to.
But this week, I finally did. I tried so hard to actually take a picture with my fancy camera, and not just my phone.
What did your week look like? Our week looked like this:

Grey

Oh, Grey! How I love my sweet little boy. Yesterday we played a game: I would throw him into a pile of pillows on my bed, and then tickle him. Then he would scramble and crawl to the edge of the bed as fast as he could, and before he could escape, I would throw him back into the pillows.

We sure had a lot of fun while his brother was sleeping.

I guess now I will have to try to take some pictures of just Micah later this week.

Summertime boys

I love the summertime, and if there's anything I love more than sitting in the shade on a warm day, eating a popsicle, it's these shirtless little boys getting sticky with their own ice pops.
