Asher Announcements

I'm starting a new thing, where I design unique birth announcements for my clients (an additional 25$ is all!) and I've been having such fun with it.
Here's a sample of my latest work:

The top one can be printed as is, or as a card, assuming the bottom is inside. The bottom is printed as a 4x6. What do you think?

Children's Book Quotes

One of my favorite quotes by A.A. Milne (the author of Winnie the Pooh), is "A quotation is a handy thing to have about, it saves one the trouble of thinking for oneself."

I adore quotes. If I didn't have so many pictures hanging on our walls, I'd probably post quotes.
Here are some of my favorite quotes from children's books. Which are your favorites?

Visiting Teaching Designs

At church, I have a calling in charge of Visiting Teaching.
It's a program that gives women the responsibility to visit, serve, and befriend one another. It's essentially forced friendship, but in the best of ways. I've made some of my best friend through Visiting Teaching.
And I've been working on some little handouts to help encourage the women to actually fulfill their assignments. What do you think?

Grey and Micah's Birthday Invites

I simply can't wrap my mind around the fact that my little babies are a year old!
And even more amazing: Somehow my husband and I survived the first year!
So it's time for a party. What do you think of the invites I made for the boys' party?

Winnie the Pooh Invites

My dear friend Claire is letting me throw her a baby shower, and I've been having so much fun making her invites.
Claire, like me, is a serious reader. When she said they wanted a old children's book feel to Addie's nursery, like Peter Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh, and Charlotte's Web, I instantly knew what I wanted to do for the invites.
I copied the picture of Christopher Robin, Pooh, and Piglet out of my old copy of The World of Christopher Robin, and painted it to look a bit more girly.
I think it turned out perfect. Don't you agree?
